Bantu Arts Atelier NYC is a cultural arts program that introduces participants to African traditions through hands-on creative experiences. Through visual arts, storytelling, music, movement, geography, crafts, and culinary discoveries, participants explore the diversity of African cultures while creating, learning, and sharing together.

Our programs are designed for children, families, schools, libraries, community organizations, festivals, and special events.

How do we do it?

Our Summer Arts Programs offer engaging cultural experiences inspired by African arts, traditions, and creativity. Participants explore mask painting, beading, textiles, storytelling, geography through art, music, dance, and FIFA-inspired cultural activities through hands-on projects and interactive learning.

Programs are available as double hourly sessions, single-day workshops, multi-day series, weekly sessions, and special events throughout the summer.
